Clients reviews about Americas Chimney Sweep

Hi! We worked with Michael based on a recommendation from a friend! And right on!!!! Michael was punctual, professional, trustworthy and thorough. We were told our chimney was recently cleaned and it was not the case. Michael came through in the inclement weather easy peasy to save us from inhaling toxins! He has a set up to maintain the fireplace/area pristine. There is detailed attention and care in his work. The space was left better than when he arrived. Will call again for next service, and highly recommend you do the same! Definitely worth the few extra bucks to clean the glass, feel like we have a new home, not just a fresh wood stove!!!! Just so pleased, did i mention experienced and knowledgeable?! 👍🏽👍🏽 ~ Heather H

We called Michael when we noticed our brick chimney had pulled a few inches away from the wood on our 47 year old house. Michael inspected the wall joint and entire chimney. He shared pictures of the crown which was also deteriorating and had pieces crumbling off as well as some holes where water had been leaking in. Michael was able to rebuild and seal the crown. He also repaired all damaged mortar and sealed the chimney and wall joint so water can't seep in. Michael was friendly, professional and did careful work. We are very pleased with his work and would recommend him for chimney repairs. ~ MOLLY J

Michael did a very thorough and great job cleaning our chimney. He also gave us some great advice on safely and successfully starting a fire. He noted that we could benefit from a new glue cap and damper- it would keep the house warmer and would be easier to open and close it with a pull cord. He was able to order one-and accommodated us by coming on the weekend for both of the service we needed. He is an honest hardworking guy and we were very pleased with the work. He also repaired the glass on the shutters in front of the fireplace for no charge. Would definitely recommend Americas Chimney Sweep. ~ Cesar T

So happy that I called Michael to help me with my dryer vent. Normally I like to clean my own vents but this one is tricky to get to as it is listed up near the roof of my house, so I decided to call for some help. Michael arrived on time with a great attitude, got me fixed up in no time and even helped me to re-tape my ducts which had been taped up with duct tape which is not meant to handle the heat of a dryer vent. We even had some great conversation which made me feel very comfortable and happy to call in for the help. Thank you Michael! I will definitely be in touch when I need chimney service :) ~ Gryphon O

Hiring Michael was the greatest decision! He is exceptionally hardworking and incredibly friendly to work with. I have an old stone chimney that was leaking water into the home via cracks, moss growth, and old crumbling mortar. Michael ground out the rotten mortar re-tooled it with fresh mortar. He also repaired the chimney crown which was full of cracks and sealed it. Days later after drying, he returned to apply several coats of waterproofing on its exterior. The chimney looks fantastic! ~ Eric G

If you are looking for a good chimney service, this is the best you could find. Michael is so nice to chat with regarding the repairs. He is prompt and communicated with me on every step. I needed repairs and he did it on schedule and at a reasonable price. He is a very nice guy too! He finished with a cleaning and my home was finished in a tidy fashion. I could not recommend him with a higher rating. 5 star service at a great price.... Thank you Michael.... ~ Tracy P

Michael is highly skilled man. He did very thorough inspection of the chimney, fireplace, flashlight in hand checked everything. He is punctual, price is very competitive. What I like the most about the job he did is when he was all finished there was not a single spot of soot left on the floor or anywhere near the fireplace. I would recommend him to anyone who need chimney care in my neck of the woods. ~ Andrey F

America’s Chimney Sweep did an excellent job. I told Michael we found a dead bird when we first opened the fireplace after summer, and he checked everything thoroughly. He cleaned the chimney properly and even noticed we were missing a spark arrestor and took care of that for us. The communication was great and the pricing was straightforward. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone in the area. ~ rafael s

I usually clean my own chimney with sub-par gear but I met Michael and thought it was time for a professional since getting on the roof each fall at my age is getting old. We go through 6-8 cords a winter and rely on our wood stove! He came when he said he would, he was very thorough and clean, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. ~ B T
